07.27.09

Hello everyone! Things are still going great. We had an appointment today mainly to test my glucose levels. I think she took about five vials of my blood! It didn't hurt, but the fruit punch drink plus getting my blood drawn left me a bit queasy. Apparently I've gained five pounds since last visit. I doubt it's all actual weight, but it's good that I'm gaining! I've just been so hungry lately..

August's heart is still beating strong, and my tummy's growing just fine (despite the fact that everyone thinks it's still pretty small for how far along I am). Our next appointment is August 10. At this point we'll be seeing Dr. Wells every two weeks!

Nothing major has happened lately.. I am still working and it's tiring sometimes, but I like that I am active. I can feel my uterus stretching and it's not really painful, just achy.

Tonight Dexter and I are having dinner with my dad and Aunt B, so that should be fun! He also talked with his Aunt Carla about how we read to August every night and she told us to start teaching him math! :) We'll see how it works out.

xoxo M&D
